Join us at 4.30pm for tea and cake at the MacDonald Hotel, Windsor before we embark on our 90 minute Jubilee walk at 5.30pm to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year – our first British Monarch to have reigned for seventy years.
Along the way, enjoy stories of the Queen’s childhood here in the area and why, to this day, Windsor continues to be so very special to her.
Learn also about some of her ancestors too who, like our Queen, have also celebrated a Jubilee.
Debbie is sure to regale us with other interesting facts she has picked up herself as with the Ghost walk she did for us.
The walk will begin at the MacDonald Windsor Hotel and from the town centre will take us past the castle, now the Queen’s main residence, out to the Great Park and down to the river.
