Ladies … have you heard about this new game popping up everywhere called Padel?  Fancy a try with fellow Ginger Fig ladies to see what it is all about?  Then join us for a very relaxed couple of hours at Slough Padel with the amazing team from Empower Padel.

We will be given a short introduction and then a chance to have a go.  We tried it recently and it’s such fun so all you need to do is turn up in sports gear and trainers.  Don’t worry if you haven’t played sport for ages or are nervous you won’t be any good because today is being amongst friends to have a laugh and see if you like it!  No pressure – just a fun hour of padel followed by a well earned cup of coffee, so what’s not to like and much nicer to try it with friends than on your own we thought!

Founded by the amazing and lovely Pep Stonor, Empower Padel aims to become the leading global community for women’s padel, giving someone the confidence or ability to feel capable of achieving their goals.  Empower Padel, wants to empower women by providing a supportive community, resources, education and opportunities.

Pep’s aim is to get as many women as possible back to sport, or playing sport again, through padel because it is so inclusive and is such a social sport.   She has loved seeing the joy of women engage in sport again and find ‘their tribe’ and meet other like-minded women.  It’s a very social sport as the number one thing for well-being is relationships this is perfect to hook up with friends.

So, if you fancy it then book on and join us – if nothing else we will have a good laugh and burn a few calories along the way!
