1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Ginger Fig Club memberships, events, ticket purchases, and services. By joining the Club, purchasing a ticket, or attending any event, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Ginger Fig Club reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and app where applicable.
2. Memberships
2.1 GF Club Membership
- The GF Club Membership is a monthly subscription, renewing automatically unless cancelled.
- Members receive access to the Ginger Fig Club App, where their digital GF Club Card is displayed.
- Membership includes access to discounts, promotions and offers from participating businesses.
- Partner offers are provided by independent businesses and may be amended, suspended or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
2.2 Gold Membership
- Gold Membership is paid monthly by Direct Debit and renews automatically unless cancelled.
- Once the Direct Debit is set up, members will receive confirmation of the payment amount and collection date.
- Gold Members receive access to events, discounts and exclusive offers via the Ginger Fig Club App.
- Where a member joins Gold Membership in order to access a Gold Member Exclusive event, offer or promotion, a minimum membership term of six (6) consecutive months applies from the date of joining.
2.3 Membership switching
We appreciate people’s circumstances change. Members may switch between GF Club Membership and Gold Membership once in any rolling twelve-month period. Any applicable minimum membership term must first be completed.
2.4 Cooling-off Period
Where a membership is purchased online, by telephone or away from our business premises, members may have a statutory right to cancel within fourteen (14) days of entering into the membership agreement.
Where a member asks for membership services or benefits to begin during this period, Ginger Fig Club may deduct a reasonable amount for services supplied before cancellation, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms affects a member’s statutory rights.
2.5 Membership Cancellation
- Members may cancel their membership at any time after completing any applicable minimum term by notifying Ginger Fig Club at [email protected]. Cancelling a Direct Debit instruction with a bank does not, by itself, constitute notice of membership cancellation or remove liability for any payments already due.
- Cancellation stops future renewals only and does not entitle members to a refund for any membership fees already paid unless required by law.
- Membership benefits end when the subscription expires or is cancelled.
- Members must hold an active membership at the time of attending any member‑exclusive event or redeeming member benefits.
3. Event Attendance
3.1 Eligibility
Attendees are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in any activities forming part of an event.
Unless otherwise stated:
- for women aged 18 and over; and
- subject to any additional eligibility requirements stated on the event listing.
3.2 Attendance & Personal Responsibility
- Attendance is voluntary. Attendees are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own safety and following all instructions provided by Ginger Fig Club, the venue and relevant suppliers.
- Attendees are responsible for their own belongings, safety, wellbeing, and conduct.
- External venues, suppliers, and activity providers may have their own terms, which attendees must follow.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
3.3 Code of Conduct
- All attendees must behave respectfully towards other members, staff, venues, and suppliers.
- Ginger Fig Club may refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is inappropriate, abusive, disruptive, or unsafe.
- Harassment, discrimination, bullying or behaviour that makes other attendees feel unsafe will not be tolerated.
- No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
3.4 Alcohol & Substance Use
- Alcohol must be consumed responsibly.
- Excessive intoxication, unsafe behaviour, or the use of illegal substances will not be tolerated.
- Ginger Fig Club may refuse entry or remove attendees without refund.
3.5 Photography & Media
- Photography and video recording may take place at Ginger Fig Club events for use on our website, app, social-media channels and promotional materials. Attendees will be informed where photography or recording is planned. Anyone who does not wish to appear should notify the Ginger Fig Club team before or at the start of the event. We will take reasonable steps to respect such requests. Further information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
3.6 Leaving an Event Early
- If you leave an event before its scheduled end time, please inform a member of the Ginger Fig Club team.
- This is especially important for events involving organised transport.
4. Tickets, Bookings & Pricing
4.1 Ticket Purchases
- A valid ticket is required for entry to all events.
- All events are subject to availability.
- The ticket price shown at the time of booking is the final purchase price and outlines what is included.
4.2 Event Pricing
Ticket prices may include additional costs such as:
- booking fees
- payment processing fees
- supplier administration costs
- website costs
- transport or coordination charges
4.3 Tickets & Refunds
- Unless stated otherwise, all tickets are non‑refundable.
- If a Gold Member cannot attend, Ginger Fig Club will attempt to resell the ticket.
- If successful, a refund may be issued minus a 10% administration fee.
- Ginger Fig Club cannot guarantee that a ticket will be successfully resold.
- Tickets may be transferred to another attendee unless the event is a Gold Member Exclusive Event, in which case transfers are limited to active Gold Members.
- The original purchaser remains responsible for ensuring the recipient is aware of these Terms and Conditions.
4.4 Late Arrivals
- Some events operate strict start or departure times.
- Ginger Fig Club will try to accommodate late arrivals but cannot guarantee entry.
- No refunds will be issued for lateness or travel disruption.
4.5 Lost Tickets
- Tickets issued by third‑party suppliers may be subject to their own terms and may not be replaceable if lost.
5. Theatre Tickets
All theatre tickets are subject to availability and are non-refundable, except where required by law or where Ginger Fig Club cancels the booking.
Many theatre bookings rely on discounted group rates requiring minimum numbers. If minimum numbers are not met, Ginger Fig Club may cancel the booking and offer:
- an alternative date;
- a credit note; or
- a refund.
Seat locations are determined by the theatre and cannot be guaranteed unless expressly stated at the time of booking.
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel unless transport is expressly included. No refunds will be issued for travel disruption, including train strikes or traffic delays, unless required by law.
6. Transport
- Where transport is provided, attendees must follow all instructions and policies issued by the transport provider.
- Attendees must wear seatbelts where fitted and comply with all instructions given by the driver or transport provider.
- Ginger Fig Club is not responsible for delays, traffic conditions, provider issues, or incidents during transit.
- Additional travel time is factored into planning, but arrival times cannot be guaranteed.
7. Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements
- Attendees must inform Ginger Fig Club of any allergies or dietary requirements before the event.
- This information will be passed to the venue or supplier. Ginger Fig Club cannot guarantee that food prepared by third parties will be free from allergens or cross-contamination.
- Attendees with severe allergies participate and consume food at their own risk.
8. Event Changes & Cancellations
- Ginger Fig Club may cancel, amend, postpone, or reschedule events where necessary.
- Where only minor changes are required (including venue, timings or supplier substitutions), Ginger Fig Club reserves the right to make such amendments without offering refunds.
- If an event is cancelled by Ginger Fig Club, attendees will be offered:
- a refund,
- a credit note, or
- an alternative date (where applicable).
- Ginger Fig Club is not responsible for additional costs such as travel or accommodation.
9. GF Club Card Offers
- Ginger Fig Club acts solely as a promoter of partner offers and accepts no responsibility for the fulfilment of those offers.
- Ginger Fig Club does not guarantee:
- the availability of any offer,
- the quality of goods or services provided by partners, or
- that offers will remain available for any set period.
- Partner businesses may withdraw or amend offers at their discretion.
- Any issues relating to partner products or services must be raised directly with the partner business.
10. Force Majeure
Ginger Fig Club is not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- severe weather
- transport disruption
- industrial action
- pandemics
- venue closures
- government restrictions
- national emergencies
- acts of terrorism
- utility failures
- cyber incidents
11. Limitation of Liability
Ginger Fig Club is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence or breach of legal duty.
Ginger Fig Club is not responsible for acts or omissions of independent venues, suppliers, transport providers or partner businesses. However, this does not affect any responsibility that Ginger Fig Club has under applicable law.
Ginger Fig Club will not be liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant contract was entered into, or for business losses suffered by an attendee acting as a consumer.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
12. Data Protection
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Ginger Fig Club Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual Property
All Ginger Fig Club branding, logos, website content, app content, graphics, and promotional materials remain the property of Ginger Fig Club and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
