LUNCH AND THE MENOPAUSE

Have you been through the menopause and still don’t know how to lose those extra pounds?

Are you still feeling a little anxious or have that annoying brain fog?

Are you experiencing the menopause now or think you are, not sure where to turn, confused by all the information?

Or just want to learn a little bit more about mindfulness and how to live in the present more?

Whilst we don’t profess to have all the answers, we have invited a team of specialists, who have spent time researching the menopause, to join us and share their knowledge with our Ginger Fig Club ladies.

With many of us experiencing different symptoms, and with a wealth of information being thrust at us, it is a minefield to try to work out what we should, or should not, be doing to treat or alleviate our symptoms.  Should we be on HRT, take supplements, go to the GP to check what stage we are in? Can you be checked? Is my brain fog due to the menopause or just because I am busy or getting old!!  The questions keep coming but where are the answers, and which answers fit me?

We decided it would be better to do this over a day, rather than try to rush it and squeeze it into a lunch or evening.  That way everyone would have time to process the information and also have time to speak with the speakers and each other too.

The beautiful Northcote House in Ascot are kindly hosting us for the event, and those attending can enjoy talks from an NHS GP and Lifestyle Medicine Doctor, a Menopause Nutritionist, a Therapeutic Counsellor & Psychotherapist and a Mindfulness & Yoga Teacher.

Even if you are through the menopause and out the other side!.. there is still plenty to learn and why not come along and share your experience too and enjoy being with other lovely ladies and enjoy lunch with us.

Lunch will also be included, with refreshments throughout the day, and we can always end with a drink in the bar later if anyone does want to stay on!

After overhauling my diet and lifestyle, as well as investing in life coaching, I spent 4 years studying nutrition so I could share my knowledge with other women.
